Tanzanite Care & Maintenance

§  Use hot soapy water and a brush to clean your tanzanite jewelry. Never use an ultrasonic cleaner to clean tanzanite, as it may damage the stone.

§  Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, cleaning products, or chlorine, which can cause the gold to loose its luster and shine.

§  Take off your jewelry before cleaning, gardening, or playing sports activities to protect it from potential scratches, chipping or loosening of gemstones.

§  Remember not all stones are created equal. Tanzanite, opal and emeralds are more sensitive stones that diamonds or sapphires and require a gentle touch and have a tendency to chip or crack.
